'Batman V. Superman' Star Gal Gadot Visits the Ellen DeGeneres Show

As the excitement for the upcoming Batman V. Superman Dawn of Justice film continues to build. Gal Gadot, who plays Wonder Woman, stopped by to talk about the role on her first ever talk show appearance at the Ellen DeGeneres Show.

During the interview Gadot told DeGeneres that she did have to audition for the role however, she didn't know what she was auditioning for. She was told that the project was super confidential and she was going to read a scene with Zack Snyder.

Gadot completed the audition and went back to Israel for work. She received a call for a camera test with Ben Affleck, who plays Bruce Wayne/Batman in the film.

She agreed for the test but they still would not reveal what it was for. Instead, she was told to expect a phone call from Snyder that evening. Snyder asked Gadot if she had heard of Wonder Woman over in Israel and after going dead for a couple seconds, according to Gadot, she tried to play it cool and said "yeah of course." She auditioned with Affleck and waited for about two weeks for an answer.

She had 30-missed calls but when she returned it she was greeted with good news. When her Wonder Woman poster was projected on the screen the audience began to cheer her on.

Gadot says she feels like she is the luckiest girl in the world. She will also have her own spin-off film in a new Wonder Woman franchise. Gadot joked that she was threatened by DeGeneres' photo in the Wonder Woman costume.

DeGeneres then presented Gadot with the action figure of her from the film. Gadot has a 4-year-old daughter and she says she does understand that she is Wonder Woman. You can check out the full interview in the video below.
