For all you Spider-Man fans out there, Sony is set to release a special 4K Blu-ray set later this year.

This set includes all of the previously released movies of the character. You can get this in conjunction with Spider-Man: Homecoming to complete the collection.

As reported by Comicbook.com, this 4K Blu-ray set includes Spider-Man (2002), Spider-Man 2, Spider-Man 3, The Amazing Spider-Man and The Amazing Spider-Man 2.

This mammoth collection comes with 12 discs and it should be available in retail stores on October 17th. It comes in a steelbook with new artwork on the cover.

It's worth mentioning this 4K Blu-ray set includes an editor's cut of Spider-Man 3. It cuts out some redundant parts of the movie, but also includes some additional scenes that were not included in the original version.

This includes more scenes from the Black Spider-Man. It should make the movie a little bit better, although it's still the least liked movie in the original trilogy by Sam Raimi.

Not to mention this collection includes a myriad of special features on all five of the films. This collection is good to get if you want to watch the movies in 4K. 4K is still in its infancy, but it's slowly being adopted by many users. Microsoft's Xbox One S and the upcoming Xbox One X console have the ability for you to play 4K Blu-rays discs.

Spider-Man has seen a resurgence in popularity thanks to the recent release of Homecoming.

The character will again appear in future Marvel films including the two Avengers sequels as well as Homecoming 2. Sony has yet to reveal if the character is appearing in more movies beyond 2019 though...
