Even though February has been dominated with the release of Marvel's Black Panther, March and April will still be a busy time at the Box Office with even more blockbusters coming our way.

Two big movies coming out are based on video games and that includes Tomb Raider and Rampage.

Box Office Pro has made predictions on both films and their Box Office potential in North America. The projections made are kind of on the conservative side mainly because video game movies have a patchy history at the Box Office.

Anyway, the website has increased the Box Office intake for Tomb Raider starring Alicia Vikander as the character of Lara Croft.

The long time tracking for the film suggests it could get an opening weekend of over $24 million with a final domestic total of $60 million.

The budget for the film has yet to be confirmed although it's likely Warner Bros has put over $100 million into the project. It might be up to the overseas audience to carry the film to be a success worldwide.

As for Rampage starring Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson, the website predicts the film will have an opening weekend of $25 million with a final tally of $62 million in North America. These numbers are similar to that of Tomb Raider's predictions.

Box Office Pro feels Rampage might not gross too much money since it comes out three weeks after Ready Player One and a few weeks before Avengers: Infinity War.

It was also mentioned the social media buzz for the film is lower compared to previous films starring Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson.

That said, The Rock is a bona fide Box Office draw so don't be too surprised if Rampage manages to over-exceed expectations.

After all, Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle made lots of money despite having a lot of doubters before release.
