Rock legend Jon Bon Jovi visited The Ellen Show and had a pretty big announcement that came after a three-year hiatus.

The big announcement came in the form of a new tour for the upcoming This House Is Not for Sale album.

DeGeneres welcomed Bon Jovi to the stage and said wherever he goes people seem to love him. She praised him as the fans cheered on.

DeGeneres said they saw each other in a tiny town in Italy and everyone knew him and wanted to talk to him.

Bon Jovi said it has been a tumultuous three years and he had to take some time off to get to know his kids. He joked that he now knows his name.

Over the last three years, Bon Jovi said he was at a crossroads and he looked at the guitar for all of 2014.

In 2015 he said he got a bit closer and it started to talk back to him, which was his code for songs. The songs turned into an album called This House Is Not for Sale.

DeGeneres played a clip of Bon Jovi's partnership with Omaze for charity. He went undercover at a karaoke bar and surprised some fans in a pretty insane getup.

Meanwhile, Bon Jovi got down to the big announcement. After playing the new album in full for smaller theater venues, Bon Jovi announced that he will be going back on tour.

You can watch Jon Bon Jovi make his big announcement and more in The Ellen Show video below. This House Is Not for Sale is set to release on November 4.
