Jon Bon Jovi and his band visited The Howard Stern SiriusXM radio show to chat about their new album This House Is Not For Sale, perform some of their hits and more.

Jon Bon Jovi and his band took the Stern Show by storm with an interview that included stories from his early days working as a "gofer" for Power Station Recording.

To the breakout success of Slippery When Wet that seemed like it had hit after hit, according to Stern. The guys said they eventually lost their personal lives.

"Jon said a year after they got off tour they came out with another album and did the same thing. He said the next album was New Jersey," according to MarksFriggin's rundown.

"Jon said he remembers just being tired after that.

He said one guy in Dublin Ireland asked him what he was doing there.

He said he thought it was a stupid question but he realized that he was wondering why he was there and not home enjoying the success of the album."

Bon Jovi would later tell Stern that he modeled his career after Frank Sinatra. He said when Sinatra had just died he was finally old enough to understand the music legend.

In terms of the new album, Jon Bon Jovi and his band said that This House Is Not For Sale refers to their integrity.

It's a mixture of looking back four original band members and when Richie Sambora left the band.

Bon Jovi said that his integrity was being questioned at the time and there were plenty of rumors circulating that were, "bullsh*t." The band went on to perform the titled single from the new album along with some classic hits like, "Runaway," "Bad Medicine," "It's My Life" and "Who Says You Can't Go Home."
