WWE Superstar John Cena is branching out to movies and the wrestler is starting to make a name for himself in Hollywood.

It has now been reported that the professional wrestler has managed to get yet another major role in an upcoming movie.

As reported exclusively by Variety, John Cena is currently in negotiations to star in a Paramount Players movie called 'Playing With Fire'. You can read a small synopsis for the movie posted down below.

"The family comedy revolves around a group of rugged wildfire fighters who meet their match when they rescue a trio of rambunctious children"

Todd Garner and Sean Robins are producing the movie using a script written by Dan Ewen. Writer Matt Lieberman is expected to do rewrites for the film.

This is not the first comedy John Cena has starred in because he was in the film 'Blockers' that came out earlier this year. He also had a cameo in Amy Schumer's 'Trainwreck' back in 2015.

The next time fans will see John Cena on the big screen is this December as he stars alongside Hailee Steinfeld in the Transformers spin-off called 'Bumblebee'.

The next time we will see him wrestling in the WWE is in the 'Crown Jewel',event although the status of that show is up in the air at the moment due to some icy relations with Saudi Arabia.

John Cena's Hollywood commitments mirror that of Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson who used to wrestle in the WWE years ago, but is now the most famous actor in Hollywood right now.

Dave Bautista is another former WWE Superstar making a name for himself on the big screen too.
