Fifty Shades Freed Certified Rotten On Rotten Tomatoes Website

February will bring us the universally praised Black Panther movie, although that movie is not out until next week.

This weekend, the critically panned Fifty Shades Freed is out and it looks like the movie is not an improvement over the previous iterations.

If you visit the Rotten Tomatoes website, you can see that Fifty Shades Freed has a dismal rating of only 14 percent from critics that have seen the movie so far. The critical consensus for the film can be seen below.

Fifty Shades Freed brings its titillating trilogy to a clumsy conclusion, making for a film franchise that adds up to a distinctly dissatisfying menage a trois.

56 reviews have been collected as of time of writing with only 8 people liking the film so far. The majority of the remaining 48 reviews have given it a rotten rating.

The average score for the film is a horrific 3.3/10 which indicates that most reviews are 1 or 2 stars out of 5. It seems as if the Audience Score is more generous at the moment currently hovering at around 60 percent.

Other aggregate sites are also not every kind to this final chapter. Over on IMDB, the score for the film is only 4.6/10 while over on Metacritic the rating is just 23% so far.

The whole franchise has been rotten according to lots of critics. Fifty Shades Darker has a rating of only 10 percent while the first one is the "best" in the series with a rating of only 25 percent.

If you hate the franchise, you will be happy to know that this is the last film of the series. More films won't be made unless Universal Pictures wants to do a spinoff or something similar in the future...
