MMG's Wale released two new tracks via Power 105.1's The Breakfast Club.

The two tracks "Illuminate" featuring Phil Ade and "New Phone" seem to be stand alone songs at the moment but very will could be part of a larger project.

Update: Two more tracks have surfaced,"Know Me" FT. Skeme and a remix of Tove Lo's "Not On Drugs"

"New Phone" and "Illuminate" a more subdued style from Wale. The tracks feature more melodies and somewhat of an emphasis on the hooks.

According to Charlamagne Tha God, Wale was scolding The Breakfast Club about the state of radio. It was all in good nature as Wale gave a pretty insightful interview where he also talked about drug abuse.

"The track is built off of a warm sample and some driving percussion," according to HotNewHipHop as they dissected "Illuminate."

"Ade opens things up with a 16, while Wale enters with a melodic hook, before he adds his own verse."

HNHH also mentioned the fact that Wale has already released The Album About Nothing which might allude to the fact that either Wale has a second album coming, a new mixtape coming or is simply just giving fans a few tracks as a thank you for their support.

There hasn't been any further information released on "Illuminate" or "New Phone" but they are both worth a listen. Let us know what you think about the new Wale tracks below.
