'The Vampire Diaries' & 'The Originals' Stars Use Social Media To Help Locate Missing Teen

CW stars from "The Vampire Diaries" and "The Originals" have been using their social media accounts to help locate the missing teen of one of their former assistant directors Rudy Persico.
Daniel Gillies, Candice Accola, Joseph Morgan, Nina Dobrev, Ian Somerhalder, Paul Wesley, Zach Roerig, Claire Holt and other stars are using their Twitter accounts to urge anyone with information on the missing 16-year-old Cierra Persico.

"Wilmington Police Department are looking for Cierra Persico. She is 5-foot-2 and weighs 120 pounds," wrote the Star News Online on Sunday January 18.
"Persico has been missing since Friday night and could be in danger, said Sgt. Sotelo of the WPD. Detective Moore of the WPD said Persico does not have money, credit cards or her phone."

Persico is the daughter of a former first assistant director of "The Vampire Diaries," responsible for 17 episodes between 2009-2011 according to IMDB.
The stars have been tweeting the story since Sunday and are all using their social media platform as well as their celebrity status to get any information they can on the missing girl.

The cast of "The Originals" and "The Vampire Diaries" knows a thing or two about banding together in a time of need and it looks like that has carried over into real life as they help their friend locate his missing daughter.
"All information is good information.
Let us decide if it's valid or not," Rudy Persico said according to the Star News online report.
"Our only concern is for the safe return of our daughter.Anyone with information about Cierra's whereabouts or disappearance should call WPD at 910-343-3600."
The efforts of the stars are genuine and with hopes that the missing Persico will be found unharmed.
"The Originals" returned this week with a scandalous episode and "The Vampire Diaries" is set to return tomorrow at 8 PM EST on The CW.
