For Internet star and YouTube sensation Tyler Oakley, his birthday is all about giving back. He's asking fans and followers to donate what they can to The Trevor Project.

Last year, Oakley sponsored a fundraiser for The Trevor Project, a suicide and crisis prevention hotline for LGBTQ youth, with the goal of raising $150,000.

"If I can use my birthday to help other people experience more of their birthdays, I feel like that's a good thing," Oakley said.

Because Oakley's fans are freakin' awesome, they raised more than half a million instead, so this year's goal is to match last year's superior efforts.

"The main success of last year's campaign was that so many of you came out and just gave what you could," Oakley said. "The power of giving just what you can as a community can change the world."

Oakley encourages everyone to donate anything, from $10 to $100. You can make a donation at Prizeo.com/tyler.

Different levels of donation come with fun rewards, like posters, t-shirts, and a Skype call with the one and only Oakley. However, they are in limited supply. But wait. There's MORE.

For every $5 you donate to the campaign, you get one raffle ticket for the grand prize: a trip to Los Angeles for the winner and a friend to experience VidCon 2015.

"Girl, I got the hook up for you," Oakley said.

"I'm gonna fly you and a friend to Los Angeles, I'm gonna put you up in a hotel, I'm gonna get you in to VidCon, and I'm going to take you backstage."

Fun fact: last year, Taco Bell donated $25,000.
