When a famous actor admits that he had molested young girls, Twitter is bound to explode. When that actor is Stephen Collins, who played a straight-laced minister on "7th Heaven," the outrage is sure to be even higher.
The New York Police Despartment's Special Victims Unit is investigating allegations that Stephen Collins, who played the Rev.
Eric Camden on the family drama that ran for 11 seasons, had sexually abused one young girl and exposed himself to two others, a police source said, reported The New York Daily News.
The alleged abuse took place more than 40 years ago.
The actor has been investigated for sexual abuse issues once previously.
Twitter showed how outraged and let down fans of the show were at the news.

Of course, some felt the need to tie in the Catholic church, although Collins' character was married and he was playing a Christian Reverend, not a priest.
So you're saying @StephenCollins was actually playing a Catholic priest pretending to be a another one? I seriously hope those kids are ok.
