TrapCall, a TelTech Systems flagship caller ID unmasking solution, is aiming to protect consumers this tax season from the IRS Phone Scam that has already cost victims $15 million.

The popular scams begin as blocked or spoofed caller ID and a con artist identifying him or herself as an IRS agent. Victims are told they are liable for back taxes and must make an immediate payment to avoid legal action.
