She is a star on the hit show Black-ish, and Tracee Ellis Ross had a couple of interesting stories to dish during her visit to the Ellen DeGeneres show.

Ross told a revealing story about Prince and also told DeGeneres what it was like kissing her Black-ish co-star Anthony Anderson.

DeGeneres told Ross that she did an awesome job on the BET Awards for the Black Girls Rock movement and Ross says she is still recovering from her opening dance number.

Ross performed to Beyonce, Chaka Khan, Queen Latifah, Janet Jackson, her mother and Rihanna during the show.

DeGeneres asked Ross if it was intimidating to imitate her mom, Diana Ross, however, Ross says she had done it before. She said the Diana Ross section was the most joyful and liberating thing ever but the dance moves for Rihanna and Beyonce made her feel like she blew her hip out. She said that Rihanna and Beyonce must have Barbie legs that they pop out when they go home.

Ross says she was limping for weeks after the performance and getting out of the latex suit was not easy at all. DeGeneres jumped into Black-ish and continued to praise it for how good it is.

"One of the things that I feel so excited about is that we've brought family television back," said Ross.

"You can watch the show with your entire family and our show is multi-generational.

We go from the kids to the grandparents so there's so many different points of view I think it's very identifiable.

But I also think the writing is just extremely good so their willing to go there with subject matter that we're all thinking about, talking about and sort of wading through in our society right now."

DeGeneres playfully stirred the pot when a photo of Anderson and Ross came up. The photo was of Anderson playing a game of basketball with Ross on his back and DeGeneres said that he did that because he wants to be with Ross.

Ross sighed and said a couple of no's. DeGeneres also brought up Anderson's last visit to the Ellen Show where he said Ross punched him during a kissing scene.

Ross immediately started laughing and asked DeGeneres if Anderson told her what he did. DeGeneres asked Ross to tell the story and Ross began talking about the intimate kissing scene. She told DeGeneres that she must have thought he did something inappropriate in her mind and gave him a combo.

Meanwhile, Ross told a story of her meeting Prince at the age of 12 or 13.

She went backstage after with her mom and when he was walking away, she saw his bare bottom. You can watch Ross' appearance on the Ellen Show int he video below.
