Stern fans heard a familiar voice this morning as Tina Fey visited the Howard Stern SiriusXM Radio show to talk about her upcoming film, Sisters, time on SNL, her appearance and much more.

Fey was doing her promotion rounds for her upcoming film Sisters also starring Amy Poehler. Stern was sure to ask why the decision was made for Sisters to open the same weekend as Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens.

Fey told Stern that they planned the release date over a year ago and when they couldn't get the film finished in time for Christmas last year, they decided to pin it against Star Wars.

Stern began to reassure Fey that there is an audience who would prefer not to see the film right away on opening day.

The interview switched gear into her overall appearance, from being chubby when she was younger to losing 30 pounds after not liking her image.

"Howard said he is so afraid of putting the weight back on. Tina said that she's not that girl. Howard said in this new movie he feels she's more sexy symbol-ish," according to MarksFriggin's rundown.

Fey told Stern that it was pretty much her last chance to play that type of role and wear some of the more revealing outfits.

Later on in the interview Fey revealed the real reason she goes by Tina, despite her real name being Elizabeth. She told Stern that her mother always called her Tina so it pretty much stuck with her.

Along with brief talk about the SNL 40th Anniversary and her friendship with Poehler, Fey talked about a joke that was played on her with Sylvester Stallone.

Fey said she was told to let Stallone know he had to annunciate more on his jokes.

You can catch Tina Fey in Sisters on Friday December 18. There are still two more shows until the end of Howard Stern's SiriusXM radio show this year.
