Underground rap legend Talib Kweli releases "Purest Heart" featuring Chris Webby and Joell Ortiz.

The track features a catchy and hard-hitting beat. Kweli, Webby and Ortiz's lyrics take some shots at people who are fake as well as the real things that happen in life.

The song is more playful than anything and Webby mostly talks about himself in a regular verse. Ortiz may have the stand-out verse on the entire track as the slaughterhouse member slaughters his verse.

"Bottom Feeder Music is working on putting together a compilation album, 'Gorilla State,'" says HotNewHipHop.com, "and today they've unleashed the first single off it.

They round up strong lyricists Talib Kweli, Joell Ortiz and Chris Webby for "Purest Heart" which is produced by Jeremy Greene. Greene builds up the record around a sample."

According to HNHH.com Ortiz is dropping his new album "House Slippers" on September 16th, however, HNHH has the album for free streaming so fans can decide whether or not they will be supporting Ortiz once the album is released.
