Shepard Fairey is known for being one of the most prolific street artists of all time. His brand OBEY is what he is mainly known for, but his intricate stencil works are much more impressive pieces of art.

Shepard revealed a portrait of his wife Amanda on Twitter in anticipation of a feature in Vogue Paris.

Shepard has not been one to shy away from the camera these past few years and was unfortunately outed on TMZ for freaking out on his wife back in 2011.

But water under the bridge, it didn't ruin his street cred, and he is still the most famous street artist in the U.S.

The portrait reveal is one of the first times we've seen Shepard use his wife as inspiration for his art. Shepard has been known for portraits of Muhammad Ali, Trayvon Martin, and a host of other icons. And let's not forget the classic Obama 'Hope' poster.

Amanda Fairey is portrayed as laying down in a rather intimate nighty and bright red lipstick. She is covering half her face and perhaps that is a reflection of her personality, as she does not seem to crave the spotlight.

Amanda was also seen briefly in the Banksy film 'Exit Through The Gift Shop', which was nominated for an Oscar (and unfortunately did not win). Shepard seems to be at a time in his career where he has achieved tremendous success and he is only 44.

For an artist, he is a baby. So what's next for the pervasive street artist? Hopefully something big.
