If you want more details on Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens, you can catch them after a Star Wars Rebels Marathon on Disney XD.

The marathon will air Sunday from 12:00 PM- 4:30 PM ET/PT. It was stated on Star Wars' official Twitter account that you could "see inside" The Force Awakens.

Details for The Force Awakens have been scarce thus far in its development.

Even a trailer released on Thanksgiving weekend didn't give fans much insight as to what the movie would entail. It did, however, ignite controversy over the effectiveness of a cross-shaped lightsaber.

In addition, the names of the characters in the trailer have been revealed. The mysterious Sith-looking figure with the cross-lightsaber is Kylo Ren, the X-Wing pilot is Poe Dameron, and the distressed stormtrooper is simply referred to as "Finn."

The Force Awakens was announced in 2012 after Disney purchased Lucasfilm Ltd.

Actors from the Original Trilogy have signed on to reprise their roles: Mark Hamill will play Luke Skywalker, Harrison Ford will play Han Solo, Carrie Fisher will play Leia Organa, and Anthony Daniels will play C-3PO.

If you want to catch more details about the upcoming Star Wars film, tune in to the Rebels marathon on Sunday. For more about the famed science fiction franchise, visit its official website here.
