Skyscraper is the new movie starring Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson where his character has to save his family trapped in a building full of terrorists.

Well fans can somewhat become The Rock's character in the movie via a special VR experience.

The VR experience gives you a chance to try and jump long distances like The Rock does in the actual movie. You can read the official announcement for the VR experience below via the official Twitter page for the movie.

"Experience @TheRock’s death-defying leap from #SkyscraperMovie in VR at select @AMCTheatres locations July 4-8, presented by @RealD3D and powered by @HP."

The official website for the film has posted the locations where you can see the VR experience. There are only ten locations and you can read them down below.

  • AMC EMPIRE 25 WITH IMAX, DOLBY (NEW YORK, NY)
  • AMC LINCOLN SQUARE 13 WITH IMAX (NEW YORK, NY)

Dwayne Johnson himself tweeted out that he tried the VR experience himself many times, but he failed at his mission. I guess he's much more successful in the actual movie itself.

"Make sure you experience our VR Skyscraper leap off the crane. I tried it multiple times and failed lol. It’s an incredible experience - especially right before you watch SKYSCRAPER. Don’t look down!"

Skyscraper will be released in North America on July 13th, 2018.
