The anticipation for Fox's "Fantastic Four" reboot has been slowly dwindling. The movie is based off of the popular Marvel comics about a group of people who accidentally get super powers.

The first trailer for the movie built up a lot of excitement. Then, Fox put an embargo on the film.

The embargo means that they won't be showing the film to critics in advance and reviews of the movie can not be posted until a few days before the movie is set to come out. This caused lots of concern for the quality of the movie.

It's been noted that when a film won't let critics see it in advance it's because they don't want the bad reviews to keep people from seeing the movie.

Then it came to the public's attention that even the stars of the film haven't seen any kind of footage from the film.

In an attempt to stop this downward spiral the producer/writer of the movie, Simon Kinberg, spoke out. He doesn't think the movie is bad or going to be a flop.

He even goes so far as to say that he believes that it'll be good enough to become a franchise.

He believes that most of the bad press is coming from the fact that the director, , is a new guy with a bad personality.

Miles Teller, who plays Reed , believes that the movie isn't going to look well in reviews because superhero movies aren't typically reviewed well or ranked high.

Someone might want to tell him about "Iron Man," "The Dark Knight," and even Fox's "Days of Future Past" that are over 90%. Well, the movie comes out August 7th and we'll see if the concern was warranted or not.
