The Howard Stern SiriusXM radio show is no stranger to to legendary names and today legendary actor Robert Duvall, called in to talk Hillary Clinton, Lonesome Dove and more with Stern Show crew and listeners.

Duvall's career started in the early 60s and not only is he one of the most decorated actors, he has also had credits in production and direction as well. His phone interview with Stern began with the star denying false reports that he suffered a stroke. Duvall revealed that he has never had one and didn't like the reports because it could cost him jobs.

When Stern asked him who the best actor was, Duvall gave that praise to Marlon Brando.

The actor told Stern that he was in Texas for a Lonesome Dove convention. So far Duvall has only caught whim of Danny Glover being there and has yet to see Tommy Lee Jones.

Stern was even able to speak to Duvall's wife Luciana, who showed some love for her husband and denounced the articles that were being written about his non-existent stroke.

"He said he's looking for a 4th party to vote for. He said that both parties are liars. Robert asked who he likes," according to MarksFriggin.

"Howard said he has known Trump many years but he's a Hillary supporter. Robert said he thinks that both of them are liars.

Howard asked what Hillary is lying about. Robert said that she's lying about bringing the bodies back and how she knew nothing."

Duvall is currently working on an unpublished novel and while he could sue the media outlets that reported about his stroke, he won't be pushing it. He seemed really eager to see Tommy Lee Jones because they got along great on the set of Lonesome Dove.

As for what films Duvall has been enjoying he lists, Beast of No Nation, Room, Straight Outta Compton and The Revenant as some of his favorites.

Duvall told the Stern Show crew and listeners that he really likes Tom Hardy as an actor. The interview was pretty short compared to Stern's other interviews this week but it was just as insightful as the rest of them.
