Terrible news struck the Harry Potter universe as actor Alan Rickman passed away after a battle with cancer at the age of 69.
Rickman was known for his countless roles in films over the years but loved by Harry Potter fans for his role as Professor Snape in the franchise films.
Fans all over are remembering Rickman including those on Reddit. Some members of the Harry Potter cast have already shared posts on social media paying their respects Rickman.
J.K. Rowling recently expressed her shocked and devastation after hearing about Rickman's death. Meanwhile, Emma Watson posted on both Twitter and Facebook to express her adoration for Rickman and how much she will miss him.
