Rachael Ray graced the Stern Studio on Tuesday during Beth Stern's interview, and had a big surprise for everyone--besides saving Benjy Bronk from himself.

"You're an angel.

I don't know what brought you in today," Howard said. He was shocked she appeared, and it was a good thing too, because the studio wasn't too excited about how Bronk's interview with Beth Stern was going on.

"I have a very big surprise," Ray said. A few years ago, Rachael Ray started a quality dog food line, and all proceeds are donated to pet shelters and organizations.

It has raised about $6.5 million for rescue animals since it's began.

Back in January, Ray announced the expansion of her new Nutrish pet food line for cats and decided to donate the first six months of sales from her pet food line to the North Shore Animal League and Bianca's Furry Friends.

Today, November 18, Ray is going to present Yoda and Beth with a giant check for $500,000 on her show. The studio was thrilled to know the cage-free cat pen at the shelter will have no problem being constructed.

This news comes in light of Beth Stern's new book, "Yoda: The Story of a Cat and His Kittens", which is currently available for purchase. All proceeds raised from book sales will be donated to Bianca's Furry Friends.

The one and only Yoda will appear on "The Rachael Ray Show" with Beth. "Yoda's in the city, and if I was going to bring him to one show, it would be Rachael's," Beth said.

"I feel very fortunate that I am able to share my mission in what I'm doing, because I feel I'm encouraging other people to do a little something," Beth Stern said about her work on her new book.

Before Ray left, Howard Stern wanted to know one more thing: "Will you pepper spray Benjy?"
