The (R)Evolution is being streamed in HD by The Real Hip-Hop Network.

The Real Hip-Hop Network launched a subscription based HD streaming service to satisfy increasing demand for access to quality programming outside of traditional television.

The network hopes to capitalize off of the increasing success of direct to consumer subscription services like NETFLIX and HULU. RHN will air quality original content, live concerts and destination programming events like RAP BATTLES, DeeJay Competitions and more.

Young people have changed the rules of traditional television and consume media differently than their parents.

"The popularity of mobile devices has inspired innovative approaches on how to deliver content to our core audience," says RHN CEO, Atonn Muhammad.

Our customers want a choice! Many them do not have cable and consume their media through non-traditional sources.

"Our core audience craves authenticity and want to see more than 8-10 rappers they see on TV," says Chief Information Officer, KW Ford.

RHN Music Group President, Bernard Taft says, "RHN will widen the playing field by giving the underground equal footing with mainstream to broaden the spectrum of choices available to hip-hop enthusiasts who feel that mainstream media has sucked the life out of the culture."

The Real Hip-Hop Network's streaming app will make RHN available across multiple platforms to include GOOGLE TV, ROKU and APPLE TV.
RHN, The Real Hip-Hop Network is offering the hip-hop world's first 24 hour HD streaming video channel available as a subscription-only, video streaming service that will air round-the-clock programming.
