P. Reign's "Realest In The City" track featuring Meek Mill has now reached No. 1 on the Billboard Emerging Artists Charts much to the liking of the Toronto rapper.

P. Reign released his "Dear America EP" on iTunes on August 25 and it was also pair with his free "Dear America" Mixtape that was released by HotNewHipHop.com as well as other major sites.

Since the release of the EP and mixtape, he has been generating a buzz especially receiving co-signs from major artists such as Drake, the OVO general, A$AP Rocky, French Montana and Meek Mill.

After retweeting the news on Twitter, he tweeted, "They been sleepin on a ni99a too long. Time to wake dey ass upp. Wayy up."

Mill has be incarcerated which pushed the release of his album "Dreams Worth More Than Money," back to a date that is still to be determined. "Realest In The City" stands out all on it's own because of the ode to the streets where P. Reign came up in. Reign used a special technique in his EP release by pairing it with the mixtape which featured a larger number of tracks. The mixtape was free while fans had to purchase the EP via iTunes.

The Billboard topping song is also reminiscent of Reign's "Where You Been," that he also shot a music video for.
