'The Originals' Daniel Gillies Gets An Instagram Page & We Totally Called It

Last week Empty Lighthouse reported on Joseph Morgan joining Instagram while speculating that it could be good news for Daniel Gillies fans and well, we were right! Gillies now has an official Instagram account.
We reported that it might not be long before Gillies joined his co-stars like Morgan, Danielle Campbell and Phoebe Tonkin by getting an Instagram account and just like that he's caved and now has one of his own.
Now, this is great for both Gillies fans and "The Originals" fans.
Why? Well filming for "The Originals" season three has begun and many of the cast members love posting photos from the set, hopefully, Gillies getting an Instagram account means fans will have a little insight into the happenings on the set and sneak peeks of episodes.

So what was his first photo? A selfie captioned "test 1" of course. He then followed it up with two more "test photos." An amazing shot of the Colosseum in Rome and the other a beautiful shot of a green tree-canopy styled railroad track.
All three photos from Gillies were very tasteful and artsy a little more towards the nature of his character Elijah Mikaelson on "The Originals." Some fans might know him as a bit of a joker offscreen judging from a few interviews with him and his cast members.
Fans can enjoy the first of hopefully many photos to come from Gillies via his official Instagram page.
