20 year ago, Ellen DeGeneres did something many were so afraid to do in their own families, on a highly televised sitcom.
DeGeneres came out in an episode of the show and it was so inspirational, The Ellen Show brought Oprah Winfrey and a few other special guest stars who appeared on the episode.
In the teaser trailer below, Winfrey can be see giving DeGeneres high praise. It was one day time television giant showing respect to another.
"Twenty years ago, nobody was actually saying it," said Winfrey as she spoke to The Ellen Show host.
"You were the bravest woman ever."
