'New Girl' Star Zooey Deschanel Talks Being A Mom on the Ellen DeGeneres Show

As a star on the hit Fox show New Girl, Zooey Deschanel knows a thing or two about new beginnings.
Deschanel recently became a mom and sat down with Ellen DeGeneres to talk about the new adventure in motherhood.
Deschanel'a daughter is 7-months-old and she says that her daughter makes a lot of pterodactyl noises. She says that she does get scared with the noises because at times it sounds like she is choking.
DeGeneres said she feels like it would happen a lot when feeding a baby anything because of the angle of their necks however, Deschanel says they get over the loose neck feeling after awhile.
Deschanel says her daughter is really cute but DeGeneres revealed that Deschanel isn't releasing photos of her daughter, Elsie Otter.
DeGeneres joked about the last name and Deschanel said she wanted the middle name to be a little wild. The show queued up a photo of an otter and DeGeneres wanted to know if Deschanel's daughter looked anything like the adorable otter in the photo. Deschanel says that she does in the sense that she is cute.
The middle name is one-of-a-kind and DeGeneres wants to be notified if there are anymore children named otter.
