When Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon and Leslie Jones are featured in the same film you expect endless laughter. In the new Ghostbusters trailer, that's exactly what you get.

The new team of McCarthy, Wiig, McKinnon and Jones, features three scientists and one woman who happens to know all of New York. Jones' character isn't a scientist but she is able to borrow a car, even if it's a hearse, not to worry, it's a cadillac.

There seems to be a lot of ghosts roaming the city of New York thanks to an evil being who is amplifying the paranormal activity in the city.

It looks as if it's on a much larger scale than 30 years ago in the original Ghostbusters film.

Chris Hemsworth is briefly in the trailer so his involvement is still a mystery but the quartet seems very serious at kicking some ghost butt. Being that it is a movie about the supernatural, there is the classic twist of the famous "power of Christ compels you" scene from the Exorcist making for a pretty funny moment.

Whether the film will bring the nostalgia from the 80s classic still remains to be seen but the new age Ghostbusters look ready for the task at hand. You can expect Ghostbusters to hit theaters on July 15.
