The first season of MTV's "Scream" is almost over.

For any fan that has been intrigued by the haunting choices of music for the show, there is no need to fear. MTV and Colombia Records are releasing a soundtrack for the show.

The soundtrack will take songs that have been featured in episodes of the show. It'll be a genre-spanning soundtrack, featuring a diverse lineup of artists. The track-list includes songs from Phoebe Ryan, LIZ, Wet, machineheart, MSMR and George Ezra.

"[As far as] the overall sound, we have a lot of dark songs in the show, or very sort of powerful songs," music supervisor Andrea von Foerster tells MTV News.

"But this isn't a horror movie where you're going to create all dark -- it's not all drama. There is levity, there are fun moments and they're in high school -- so you get a little bit of everything."

"Scream" airs on MTV on Tuesdays at 10pm. The soundtrack will be availble for purchase on August 14th. For those wondering which songs have been chose can listen to it on MTV or below.
