'Mr. Robot' Star Rami Malek Tells Jimmy Fallon About His Friendship With Robert Downey Jr.

While Mr. Robot's second season is right in the swing of things, the shows' star Rami Malek visited The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and told him all about his friendship with Robert Downey Jr.

During their interview Fallon pointed out that he heard Malek became friends with Robert Downey Jr. which led Malek to humbly reply that he is there with Fallon and he gets emails from Downey Jr. Malek says he received an email from Robert Downey Jr.

and from his exact words, he didn't think it was him at first. He thought it was someone trying to trick him but it was actually him.

It wasn't until later on that Malek received a message from someone he was close to asking why he wasn't answering the Iron Man stars' emails. Malek thought to himself, "noway I've been blowing this guy off." The Mr.

Robot star said it was even signed "film icon" because Robert Downey Jr. was amazing like that. He said he is the most humble but cool guy.

Malek said that Downey Jr. actually came to the set and watched him film. He felt some pressure but they moved on throughout the day and made Malek the hero of the set for having Iron Man there.
