If you ever wondered how some celebrities get a date, Modern Family's Eric Stonestreet has one answer, Tinder. Stonestreet visited the Ellen Show and told the host and the audience all about his experience with the app.

DeGeneres revealed that Stonestreet is on Tinder and asked him to explain what it's like. At first Stonestreet wavered between the fact that he was on Tinder then decidedly stated that he was on it.

Stonestreet says he has tried Bumble and another dating app but the way he justifies using them is the fact that he shouldn't be annexed from using the app because he is on TV. He says people are surprised to hear that he is on Tinder and told DeGeneres that when he meets people he gets nervous.

Stonestreet wouldn't reveal how many people he has met with the app but he did say that he has had varying degrees of fun. Stonestreet will appear in the upcoming film, Confirmation.

He plays the former Chief of Staff for Ronald Reagan and aid to the Bush administration who was hired to shepard Clarence Thomas through his trial process, when he was accused of sexually harassing Anita Hill.

The story started an empowering movement for women and Stonestreet said he wanted to work with HBO and Kerry Washington. You can watch Stonestreet explain his new role and experience with Tinder to Ellen DeGeneres in the video below.
