Fans worldwide just can't seem to get enough of Miss Peregrine's Home For Peculiar Children.Meanwhile, The Girl On The Train made a big number one debut on it's opening weekend domestically.

"Fox's 'Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children' leads the way in its second weekend with $57.5 million, thus bringing the Tim Burton directed fantasy to a global total of $145.1 million," according to comScore's Senior Media Analyst Paul Dergarabedian.

"Opening this weekend, Universal's 'The Girl on the Train' takes second place with a worldwide debut of $41.2 million."

With the top spots shifting pretty frequently in the past couple of weeks it will be interesting to see if The Girl On The Train and Miss Peregrine's Home For Peculiar Children will hold up against newcomers.
