Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance is on sale for Mac on Steam. Apple owners yearning for cyborg ninja action will be able to save 15% off the regular price for the game.

Konami announced the sale via Twitter--stating that the promotion only lasts 5 days.

Revengeance was released in 2013. Taking place after the events of Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, players took control of Raiden.

It was the white-coifed ninja's first appearance as a playable character since his controversial starring role in Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty.

In Revengeance, Raiden combats a nefarious group of warmongers called The Winds of Destruction. Trying to stop them from turning children into cyborgs, Raiden discovers that the Wind of Destruction's malicious deeds originate from the top of the American Government.

Critics responded to Revengeance with generally positive reviews.

Gamespot, giving the title a score of 8 out of 10, stated, "In an impressive show of style and technical brilliance, Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance takes a turn for the brutal and rarely looks back."

In addition IGN stated about the title, "Few action games are as fast, rewarding, and exciting as the insane and imperfect Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance."

The sale ends next week. For more information on Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, visit the official website for the game here.
