If you thought "All About That Bass," was the last song you'd hear from Meghan Trainor, she has pretty much proved you wrong.

Today, the artist visited the Ellen Show to share some exciting news, perform and even get a little surprise from DeGeneres.

DeGeneres congratulated Trainor on her success including the Grammy win for "Best New Artist." Trainor says she got very emotional that day and cried a lot. DeGeneres asked Trainor if she got to thank everyone she wanted to thank but anyone who saw the show knew that she was too emotional.

She told DeGeneres and the fans that she just freaked out and cried instead. Trainor says there is a woman named Carla Wallace who signed her when she was 17-years-old.

Trainor says Wallace saw something in her that a lot of people didn't and told Wallace that she loved her so much. Trainor says she wanted to thank Wallace, her family at home who she completely forgot about in the moment and a couple of others that she forgot.

DeGeneres asked Trainor if she got to keep the Grammy she won but Trainor said she hadn't received it yet.

She said it was supposed to be coming that month, however, DeGeneres said it was coming right now because she called her friends at the Recording Academy and there it was.

Trainor was overcome with emotion once again as DeGeneres presented her with the Grammy she was patiently waiting on. She cried again as the fans cheered but DeGeneres says she didn't mean to make her cry.

After presenting her with the Grammy, DeGeneres talked a bit about the Thank You album set to release on May 13.

She asked Trainor if she felt pressured on the album but Trainor says she was more excited to try something new as a song-writer and is also excited for everyone to hear the music.

DeGeneres says Trainor's "No" is a great song before having her announce that she was going back on tour. The entire audience got a pair of tickets to see Trainor live.

As if the show couldn't get any better, DeGeneres and Trainor played Who's You Rather. You can check out the outcome of that and the interview in the videos below.
