Matt Taibbi did not go very long without finding a home in journalism, or in this case, a second home.

The former and once-again Rolling Stone writer who recently exited First Look Media before his planned website launched is joining ESPN's Grantland website to write some features.

This won't interfere with his assignments at Rolling Stone where he has returned to covering politics, finance and other subjects.

Grantland Editor in Chief Bill Simmons shared the news on Twitter.

Taibbi made his name covering politics and business for Rolling Stone left the magazine in February to join First Look, where he was heading up a project to create a new publication.

He exited First Look amid questions of the company interfering with his editorial vision. His decision to join Grantland has him working with Simmons for the first time.

Simmons is no stranger to clashing with his bosses as he recently received a three week suspension for remarks he made on his podcast about NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell.
