The American Crime Story: The People V.S. O.J. Simpson is one of the most talked about TV series right now. Today Marcia Clark, the prosecutor in the O.J. Simpson trial, stopped by the Ellen DeGeneres show to talk about her initial reserves with the show and her relationship with co-worker Chris Darden.

Last week Sarah Paulson, the actress who portrays Clark in the series, told DeGeneres that she had shots with Clark as she did a little research on the character.

DeGeneres expressed interest on having Clark on the show and the show made it happen. DeGeneres and Clark began talking about the show and initially she said that she didn't want the show to be made.

Things changed when she heard that Ryan Murphy and Sarah Paulson signed on, she felt much better about the quality of it. She did agree that the show was getting most of what happened pretty accurate.

DeGeneres says that Clark was treated so badly and she didn't believe that any man would be treated the way she was during the trial.

She began reading some tweets from viewers who sympathized with Clark and called Clark a hero. DeGeneres got to discussing Chris Darden and whether or not Clark knew that Darden was in love with her.

"We were really partners, we were trench-mates and he wasn't my second chair," said Clark.

"You know a lot of times when you prosecute, you have a senior prosecutor and a junior prosecutor.

It wasn't like that, we were co-council and he was my partner. I can't tell you how important it was to have him there."

Funny enough DeGeneres flat out asked Clark if she and Darden made out as Clark laughed, she answered by saying, "we danced." DeGeneres noted that in the show they almost made out and again asked Clark if she and Darden made out. Clark continued to laugh and said that she and Darden did take a trip to the Bay area. Funny enough, Clark says she saw O.J. Simpson after the trial when he was on trial for stealing sports memorabilia in Las Vegas. Clark covered the trial for Entertainment Tonight and told DeGeneres that no one was in custody. Everyone was floating around including Simpson who walked by the table and said "Ms. Clark," to which she answered, "Mr. Simpson."
