This week the Billboard Emerging Artists Chart gets a few fresh faces as Majid Jordan, Alessia Cara and Rich The Kid round out the top three spots.

Majid Jordan remains at the top of the charts with their hit "My Love" featuring the OVO general Drake. Drake taps into his R&B style to add a smooth groove to the already silky tone of the track. Things get a little heavy during the chorus where the question "why you want to be my love" is asked upon the groups entrance.

The two producers were credited with production and vocals on Drake's "Hold On We're Going Home." They have become one of OVO's top artists and prove that yet another Canadian act can make it to the top.

Another Canadian act has been ruling the Billboard Emerging Artists Chart for a few weeks now.

Since the release of her track "Here," Alessia Cara has had her foot heavily set on the pedal.

Last week she managed to chart two tracks on the Emerging Artists Chart one of which is number two this week and the other a well executed cover of Taylor Swift's "Bad Blood," which Swift acknowledged via social media. The Brampton, Ontario native is gaining a ton of attention for someone who would rather stay home and listen to music with friends than attend a crazy house party, which is the basis for her track "Here." Queens, NY born rapper Rich The Kid rounds out the top three with his track "Keep It 100." The song features upbeat production from Zaytoven and there is also a verse from one of the most popular new rappers out, Fetty Wap. The song has an overall trap sound that relates more towards the Southern hemisphere of Hip-Hop.
