LL Cool J Visits 'The Ellen Show'

Star of NCIS: Los Angeles LL Cool J stops by to chat with Ellen DeGeneres on "The Ellen Show."

The grammy winning superstar spoke about his role on NCIS and was greeted by a cheering crowd. J received his doctorates degree and he was also able to see his daughter graduate.

In his career J is considered one of the OG's of rap. He is now building his own college fund.

DeGeneres talked about J being highly allergic to dogs and still getting his daughter a dog.

He received a little friendly advice about what to do with "Purple" from Degeneres. What would an Ellen show be without without DeGeneres pleasing her fans with a few shirtless photos of the fit and build J.

J is working on "G.O.A.T. 2," which he says is more towards "hardcore" rap.

DeGeneres presented J with his own doctorates gown and two special chains to match.

When asked if he would hug someone for the fans the entire crowd went wild for the old school rapper who is doing big things in his career.
