Fans and followers noticed Australian beauty vlogger Lauren Curtis wasn't updating her YouTube channel as frequently as expected, but she's recently released a statement (and a new video!) announcing her return.

On November 5, Curtis posted a stunning photo to her Instagram with a caption explaining her short break from video blogging.

I'M BAAAACK! I'm aware that I have been neglecting my channel recently - it comes down to the fact that I went through a rough patch, as we all do, and as a result I completely lost my inspiration. When you don't have that it's hard to feel excited to film, or want to film, because you don't feel creative and enthusiastic enough to create the content you guys expect from me. That's why I haven't been uploading regularly and haven't been providing you with exciting new content - I had cornered myself into a situation in which I couldn't win (no inspiration = no fun videos, no fun videos = lots of disappointed subscribers, lots of disappointed subscribers = down on myself and even less inspiration to film). BUT - that changes now! I've finally acknowledged what the issue is and I feel so excited to get back into it all - YAY!!! I finally have the drive and inspiration that I lost back and I just wanna make it up to you all! Expect frequent uploading, diverse, new content and a re-energized Lauren ? Also - I just want to give the biggest, most genuine and heartfelt thank you to all of you who supported me throughout my rough patch and understood that I just needed to take some time out for myself for a change. Another massive thank you to those of you who have stayed so incredibly loyal to me even though I wasn't giving you what you deserved and expected from me. You guys are honestly, without a shadow of a doubt, my second family and if I could all give you a massive bear hug I most certainly would I love you all so much and here's to a new and exciting chapter!!!

Curtis explains how she fell into a bit of slump, and wasn't feeling like herself.

With a lack of inspiration, she didn't have the creativity necessary to post the quality content her followers look forward to.

But Curtis tells her fans that she's addressed her personal issues, and is now excited to be back in the game.

In her new video, Curtis gives subscribers a look into her daily make up removal and skincare routine.

The famed beauty blogger admits to being prone to deep, under the skin pimples, and recently began taking YAZ regularly to help calm her acne.

It took about three months for her skin to clear up, and the residual spots subscribers will see are now healing.

Curtis takes the time to use a Clarisonic skin cleanser every night in the shower, and assures it is waterproof. "So you don't have to worry about being electrocuted," she jokes.

The brush needs to be changed once every three months, and you can choose from a variety of brushes to match your skin type.

It gives your skin a deep clean, and removes 6x more dirt and make up than a simple hand wash.

Before she uses the Clarisonic, she takes the time to use a facial cleansing wipe to remove the majority of her foundation.

She then uses the Clarisonic on her forehead, cheeks and chin.

Normally, the Clarisonic is suggested to be used for 10 seconds for your cheeks, and 20 seconds for your forehead and chin--though Curtis reverses this for her own skin type, because she believes her cheeks are more of a problem area.
