This week will mark the release of Kirsten Dunst's new film Midnight Special and she stopped by the Ellen DeGeneres to chat about her early career and her adopted cat.

Dunst told DeGeneres she started doing commercials when she was about 3-years-old in New York. Her first commercial was actually Kix cereal and Dunst says she really doesn't remember it that much. DeGeneres pulled up another commercial from Dunst's younger days this time it was for Crayola.

She did about 100 commercials and Dunst says wishes she still got paid from them but she doesn't. Dunst starred in Little Women, Bring It On and Spiderman, as well as Fargo.

Dunst is watching the episodes of Fargo with her mother but she has to immediately tell her everything that is happening in the series. DeGeneres says that would drive her crazy. Then, Dunst talked a bit about her cat Tito, who she thought was a girl for a bit.

She had to confirm with the vet that Tito was a boy and all was well from that point on. You can check out the interview in the video below. Midnight Special hits theaters on Friday, March 18.
