It looks like Kevin Gates is responding to the video where he kicked a fan in the stomach at one of his performances.

Instead of an Instagram video addressing the incident and the charges being filed against him, Gates uses music to respond in a new track titled, "The Truth."

"I will not be disrespected, n***a or b****," says Gates in the opening ot "The Truth."

"All in the news bout what happened in Florida, posted on WorldStar on iPhone recorded, she grabbed my d**k, overreacted I'm sorry," he continued making sure to make it clear where his reference was going.

"Two or three times I had already warned her edit that part out I don't like to argue, my children go with me to every performance.

You should have respect for yourself, you a queen and you wasn't respecting yourself, never been disrespected you know how it felt you don't have to love me go love someone else."

The verse above seems to be Gates' alleviating himself from the incident because he warned the female concert goer three times before kicking her. He also says that she should have been more respectful and he doesn't care if she doesn't like him anymore.

In an interview posted to WorldStarHipHop, the victim stated that she forgives Gates but she's no longer a fan of his.

Gates asks for forgiveness from God in the track and is taking the incident as another hiccup in his career. His lyrics also shed light on his past before he jumps back into rapping about the incident.

He says that the victim has to her mother lying just to get a check.

The victims mother also said that Gates should be prosecuted for the assault and put in jail in the WorldStarHipHop interview. It looks like there is quite the battling brewing.
