The Hip-Hop and Alternative genres battle it out this week as Kaytranada, Beach Youth, The Wombats and Vic Mensa all land the top four spots on the Billboard Emerging Artists Chart.
Coming in at number one on the Billboard Emerging Artists Chart is Kaytranada and his new track "Drive Me Crazy" featuring Vic Mensa. The track is a combination of raw Hip-Hop and a smooth R&B tone in between.
Both verses from Katranada and Mensa are super solid and the beat is fun and well, crazy. It sets the mood and gets you hyped at the same time so prepare yourself for a musical roller coaster ride

Beach Youth lands the number two spot on the Billboard Emerging Artists Chart with "Days." The song is a fast paces Alternative/Rock dream. It comes in at under three minutes long but when it's over you'll find yourself wanting to explore the band further because of their awesome sound.
"Days" is one of the tracks featured on the Plastic Fish "American Sole" album which features various artists including, Joey Fourr, Nicotine Dream and Ghosthouse.

The number three spot belongs to the Indie/Rock band The Wombats and their track titled, "Greek Tragedy." The song is beautifully arranged and Matthew Murphy adds some infectious vocals to pull it all together.
The band hails from Liverpool and fans of "Greek Tragedy" are able to pre-order their upcoming album "Glitterbug," scheduled for release on April 7.

Rounding out the Billboard Emerging Artists Chart's top four is Vic Mensa and his song "Crazy." Mensa is now mentioned twice on the emerging artists chart adding to his already high buzz.
Mensa has a very impressive lyrical ability and has proven himself among newcomers like Joey Bada$$. The track features an old school beat while Mensa pouring his verses into it.
