The scare tactics continued on The Ellen DeGeneres show this week and Kate Hudson happened to be the recipient of it. Hudson stopped by the Ellen DeGeneres show and talked about her kids, dating and more.

Hudson happens to be the voice of Mei Mie in Kung Fu Panda 3 and stopped by the show to catch up with DeGeneres. They talked about her sons Bingham and Ryder who hudson distinguishes through their sense of style and of course the big age difference.

She says that 12-year-old Ryder is into girls right now and DeGeneres said she couldn't believe Ryder was 12.

Meanwhile, DeGeneres wanted to dive into Hudson's dating life and asked her who she was dating but Hudson never name-dropped, instead, she admitted that she was dating. Hudson's Valentines Day was also a mystery to her because she says she can't remember what she did. Hudson has a new book out called "Pretty Happy: Healthy Ways to Love Your Body" and she says that she wrote it because everyone always asked how she was doing and "pretty happy" was always her answer.

She believed it was a baseline answer and includes a lot of tips on how people can get healthy and shift their lifestyle.

Then, of course, DeGeneres gave Hudson a scare after talking about how important it is to keep calm. You can check out her interview from the show in the videos below.
