Though it may still be early in September, it's never too early to start planning your Halloween pilgrimage.

This haunted season, React Presents is throwing their sixth annual Freaky Deaky Halloween Costume Party in both Chicago and Detroit.

Chicago's Freaky Deaky parties will take place Halloween weekend on Friday October 31st and Saturday November 1st at Aragon Ballroom, and Detroit's Freaky Deaky party will take place the weekend before Halloween on Saturday October 25th at Masonic Temple.

Big-timers in the electronic dance music industry, Flux Pavilion and Nervo, will be headlining the Chicago shows, while Colorado's electronic jam-band will, Big Gigantic, will headline the show in Detroit.

Supporting acts in Chicago include G-Eazy, Kill the Noise, Tchami, Pegboard Nerds and Kennedy Jones, while Paper Diamond and Manic Focus will perform in Detroit.

Freaky Deaky was founded in 2008 by React Presents as just a single day event. In 2011, the event expanded into the motor city of Detroit with over 5,000 attendees.

In 2012, Freaky Deaky expanded to two day in Chicago and now brings in over 9,000 electronic music lovers to ring in Halloween weekend, making it the largest Halloween event in the Midwest, offering a diverse range of world class artists and producers.

Past performances have included MSTRKRFT, Chromeo, Wolfgang Gartner, Laidback Luke, Dada Life, Griz, Claude VonStroke, Knife Party, Danny Brown, Tommy Trash, A-Trak, Blood Beetroots, Crystal Castle, Boys Noize, Tokimonsta and more!
