Star of NBC comedy series "Community", and host of weekly live comedy show, "The Soup", Joel McHale, was on "The Talk" Thursday afternoon and gave the behind the scene details on his now infamous White House jokes.

After the comedy bit, McHale asked a Russian correspondent, "If I said these things in your country, to your leader, what would happen?" The correspondent said he would most likely be in jail for life.

The White House never asked for any of McHale's jokes to screen before he told them live at the White House Correspondents Dinner.

McHale brutally burned a number of politicians and pop culture personalities while on the mic, and its noted that Chris Christie was subject to the hottest slurs.

McHale was quoted as saying, "I promise tonight will be both amusing and over quickly, just like Christie's presidential bid."

The comedian also poked fun at Donald Trump, Nancy Pelosi, and vice president Joe Biden. "Right now, Joe Biden is elbow-deep in jalapeno poppers and talking to a construction cone he thinks is John Boehner," he joked.

"It was by far the most nerve-wracking moment of my life," McHale said about the entire experience at the White House dinner.

Joel McHale recently signed an extension to his contract with "The Soup", and will be hosting the show through 2016.

McHale also announced that "The Soup" will now be on Friday nights, so if you want to hear more biting bits from the one and only Joel McHale, tune in then.
