Is "The Soup" starting to get cold? Joel McHale told the ladies on "The Talk" Thursday afternoon that his weekly live comedy show, "The Soup", will be moving from its original slot on Wednesday nights to air on Friday nights.

Currently, "The Soup" is on E! Network at 10 p.m. every Wednesday. Stay tuned to find out the exact date that E! is planning on making the switch.

In October, E! announced that McHale extended his agreement to host the show through 2016.

Ann Oldenburg reported on USA Today: "Also, McHale's production company, Free Period Productions, will continue its production development deal, in which he gives the network first-look rights to ideas for non-scripted series."

Do you think the switch is a sign that the show may be on its way out? Moving to a Friday night time slot isn't necessarily a good sign for a television show.

Could this be a sign that ratings have dropped?

Philiana Ng at The Hollywood Reporter reported that the 500th episode of "The Soup", which aired in August 2013, brought in almost 1 million viewers.

"To compare," she wrote, "July episodes averaged 682,000 viewers, The Soup's best monthly performance since February. Year to date, about 56 percent of The Soup audience watches on DVR."

November 5, "The Soup" aired live with comedian Will Arnett, and the show proved popular with audiences and fans alike. But will you still watch "The Soup" when it beings to air on Friday nights?
