The world has gotten very politically correct and Joe Rogan is one of the few voices pointing out when things go too far.

Rogan, a strong believer in and practicioner of, free speech shared a news article with his Twitter following that pointed out that the cartoon "Tom and Jerry" now contains a trigger warning when it airs on Amazon and Apple's video services.

What's a trigger warning? It's a disclaimer for parents which warn viewers about "Ethnic and Racial Prejudices" in the show.

Rogan is bringing light to something which parents should be fighting back on.

Tom and Jerry are a cartoon mouse and cat and nothing they do has even a vague hint of reality.

If kids are using the "lessons" taught by the show to be racist, then parents should also be teaching them that cartoon cats and mice are not exactly role models.

Yes, Pepe Le Pew and Speedy Gonzalez are vaguely racist, but it's hard to imagine that those characters are why the world has racial problems.

If that was the case, you would think Foghorn Leghorn would also carry a dsclaimer since he is basically a sendup of Southern racists himself.

Rogan simply passed the article along, but what he is saying speaks volumes. If we get too PC, then our kids will grow up expecting a sanitized world where every potential offensive anything comes with a disclaimer.

In addition to working for UFC, Rogan hosts "The Joe Rogan Experience" podcast.
