If you were a fan of J.J. Abrams Cloverfield, you have something to look forward to very soon. Abrams' secret film 10 Cloverfield Lane now has a trailer and it's pretty epic.

10 Cloverfield Lane is not directly associated with the original Cloverfield film but does have a "blood" relation to the film, according to Abrams.

"The idea came up a long time ago during production. We wanted to make it a blood relative of Cloverfield," said Abrams in a statement to Collider.

"The idea was developed over time. We wanted to hold back the title for as long as possible."

The stars of the film include Mary Elizabeth Winstead, John Goodman and John Gallagher Jr. and from the trailer the performances in the film already look pretty epic.

Winstead's character wakes up in what seems to be a bomb shelter after being saved by a stranger, however, the teaser trailer shows that things go a bit awry when Winstead tries to escape.

10 Cloverfield Lane is scheduled to hit theaters on March 11.
