Jimmy Kimmel and Howard Stern Open Up the Stern Show

Long time friend of Howard Stern and the SiriusXM radio show Jimmy Kimmel sat in on the radio show which also feature appearances by Steve Martin and Bill Simmons.

Together the two opened up the show together and talked about his appearance on Live! With Kelly Ripa.

Jimmy Kimmel appeared on the Live! show and the appearance came up plenty of times during his sit-in on the Stern Show.

Kimmel and Stern talked about having dinner the night before and Kimmel also expressed his excitement to meet with Steve Martin again. Kimmel did get Martin's book Cruel Shows and also remembers his parents going to Steve Martin shows.

Kimmel co-hosted Live! with Kelly Ripa for the day but was booked as a guest prior to the split with Michael Strahan.

He ended up giving Stern a preview of what he would be talking about and said he was not going to go around the story at hand.

"Howard said he's the first since Michael Strahan announced he's leaving. Howard said there is so much mystery around this whole thing.

Howard said you see her kissing and hugging Michael but you hear that behind the scenes they hate each other," according to MarksFriggin's rundown.

"Howard asked Jimmy if he'll be told not to embarrass her. Jimmy said he hopes they don't. He said there's no way they will.

He said he'll ignore it if they do. Howard said that he'd like to hear her interviewed and talk about her emotions about what's going on over there. Jimmy said he will get into it. He said he has to."

Howard Stern Talks Co-Hosting with Kelly Ripa on Live!

The visit would not be complete without some talk about Jay Leno and Stern wanted to know how things were going with other hosts on late night television and Kimmel's response was pretty peaceful.

"He said there is an occasional thing with a music guest but most of the time they just take turns. He said that he doesn't get upset when a friend does other shows either," according to MF.

"Howard said he doesn't believe that. Howard asked why there were problems with Leno and Letterman. Jimmy said Sarah used to go on Leno when she was dating him. He said he didn't have a problem with it."

Meanwhile in the world of Wack Packers, Kimmel says he likes Jeff the Drunk more than Bobo but right now Wendy the Slow Adult and Gary the Conqueror are he favorites.

Later on the two jumped back into talks of Strahan and Ripa where Stern gave Kimmel a couple of questions for him to ask from the Stern Show. Which can be heard below.
