The popular British sensation Jessie J sat down with the ladies of "The View" and also hit the stage to perform one of her hits.

The crowd went absolutely wild to see the fabulous Jessie J. "It's a bit of a whirlwind, it's a little overwhelming to say the least," she said about the popularity of her album and her rise to fame, but she's embracing her stardom and is taking it all in.

One of the ladies' hot topics of the day was Taylor Swift, and singer/activist Billy Bragg's opinion against her that she 'sold her soul' to Google when she pulled her catalogue from Spotify. As a headliner in the same industry, Jessie J was asked to weigh in. "It's so hard to not contradict yourself as an artist.

The music industry is always changing," she said. "I find it hard to have an opinion when I don't know the full facts... However, I think if people love the music they'll buy it, and they'll support you."

J currently has one of the biggest songs on the radio titled, "Bang Bang," featuring Nicki Minaj and Ariana Grande. The song has been a staple in regular radio rotations and was also the subject of yesterdays "The Ellen Show," as Ellen DeGeneres made an audience member by the name of Sandra Collier memorize and perform the song.

J also has a single called "Burnin' Up" featuring 2 Chainz. Both songs are featured on her album, "Sweet Talker" which released on October 14 with two additional features; Lindsey Stirling and De La Soul.

Jessie J performed "Burnin' Up" at the end of the "The View", crooning with her characteristic "bang bang" vocals, and the ladies totally got down.

"While studying for her A levels and working part time in toy superstore Hamley's in London's West End - 'I was very busy. I don't like sitting still' - she got her first taste of the pop-star experience: she auditioned for a girl band called Soul Deep and got the gig," according to her artist bio.

"It was for an anti-violence single for the Mums Against Guns campaign and, 'It was something I really believed in,' she says.

It was around this time that her parents moved Jessie and her sisters out of east London after a stabbing near the family home."
